John Pierce Memorial Ride and Celebration of Life
Husband, Father, Grandfather
ABATE member and officer Extraordinaire:

Prior to the celebration of John's life, at Riveted Church, 14765 N52 West Ave, Skiatook, we will take a short ride along one of John's favorite local routes. When you take the ride, I think you will see why John really liked it.
Riders from the Tulsa area will meet at the Tulsa Driller -- the Faigrounds, at 12:00 for departure at 12:30. Tulsa ABATE Road Captain will lead the ride to Skiatook.
Chris Pierce, John's wife asked that His daughter Julie and Son-in-law Jarod lead, riding John's Sportster. Next, riding in John's favorite "cage" his Porche Boxter will be Grandsons Ian  and Connor. Art Ryan, James Chambers Clark, Bob Dresser and Radar will be next in line. Jarod is trying to get local police to help with traffic control.
The ride will depart the parking lot, heading west. It will turn north on Lombard Ln, west on Phillips Rd, south on Jayvine Hill Rd (52nd W Ave), cross Hwy 20 to the church. This is an 11 mile ride.
At the church, Jarod and Julie will ride the Sportster into the church, through a line of motorcycles, outside the church, who will be revving their engines as the Sportster passes into the church.
We hope you will join with John's family and a LOT of motorcycle friends to send JP off in the style he richly deserves.
If you are planning on riding in the memorial, it would help if you click I plan to make the Memorial ride and let me know you will be riding. We are trying to provide enough traffic control to make the ride an easy one -- in keeping with John Pierce's Easy Rider life style.

"John & I"
Chris Pierce would love to have you share a short "John & I" story at the June 1 Celebration of John's Life.  Many people had interesting, funny, sad, and/or moving experiences with John.
